Lynn Blaseg and Karla Kotara, two girls from Colorado and Texas, have been creating beautiful artwork together for over a decade. With a combined 50 years of business experience in the graphic arts, marketing and photography, the two of them know how to create the perfect sign for whatever your needs might be.

When the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled graduations, birthday parties, and almost all other events and gatherings, Lynn and Karla came up with an idea to create yard signs as a way to acknowledge and celebrate graduates who couldn’t have a typical graduation party. The Colorado Springs community loved the idea and there was a sign in many graduate’s yards. Karla brought the idea to Texas and from there The Sign Girls began branching out to other occasions including birthday parties, business openings, welcome home, non-profit events and a variety of other sign needs for personal and business purposes.

Lynn Blaseg

As a Colorado resident for 13 years and counting, Lynn loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time in it with her family; camping, boating, jeeping and just hanging out on their inviting front porch. She has a very supportive husband, two beautiful daughters, and two crazy dogs which make living in the colorful state of Colorado so much fun.

In addition to the Sign Girls, Lynn has worked as a graphic designer for 25+ years. She spent time as the marketing director of a jewelry manufacturer and then founded her own photography retouch & graphic design studio, The Finished Touch. At The Finished Touch, she has retouched photos, designed logos and printed materials for more than 15 years.
